About Mariners Home

This is a joint project by the All Japan Seamen's Union (JSU and the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP). The JSU-AMOSUP Mariner's Home is a modern structure exhibiting basic elements of traditional Japanese culture, while providing secure, decent and comfortable accomodation to Filipino seafarers in transit. "It is my undying wish that this Mariner's Home. being for peace and relaxation for Filipino seafarers and a bridge of cultural exchange, be utilized effectively for the longest possible time and become a well-loved oasis for Filipino seafarers. In order that this establishment be acknowledged by a larfe number of people as an effective means for bringing together Japanes and Filipino seafarers, we depend on all of you present here today to earnestly patronize this place." - Capt.
